B) A great piece of architecture :

The Borneo Sporenburg Houses in Amsterdam were the most compact new housing district in The Netherlands during the 90's.  Adriaan Geuze of West 8 Landscape Architects drew inspiration from dutch architectural heritage especially by villages on the former Zuiderzee with the intention of creating an old fashion neighborhood. The problem with designing high density housing areas is that it can have a negative impact on the quality of life of urban residents and promote issues associated with social inequality. However Adriaan Geuze was able to overcome these challenges by designing unique individual structures, that were able to work harmoniously as a whole.
